Our research group utilizes both quantitative and qualitative methods to address critical issues in healthcare, including cancer screening, diagnosis, and treatment, tumor mapping, surgical education, and gender discrimination in surgery. We also investigate the implementation of ATLS trauma courses and reconstructive surgery during wartime. By identifying challenges and developing practical solutions, our goal is to bring about transformative changes in clinical practice, ultimately improving patient outcomes and raising the standards of care across Ukraine, even in the most difficult times.
In addition, young Ukrainian physician-scientists receive comprehensive training in research principles, methodology, and ethics, enabling them to conduct high-quality, evidence-based studies. Through hands-on skill development and personalized mentorship, they gain practical experience that enhances their ability to contribute to medical research. This mentorship fosters a new generation of physician-scientists who are equipped to make meaningful advancements in healthcare and patient outcomes.
